William Moseley as Peter Pevensie

Peter Pevensie is the oldest of the four Pevensie children. He is very protective of the younger three, very outspoken, and sometimes extremely stubborn. Still, as High King of Narnia, he is well respected and obeyed. That's the reason why when he returns to England, he begins many fights since he thinks that he should be treated like a king, not a child. You could say that he doesn't like to be humbled, and enjoys living in a world where he is spoiled and treated too well.

This becomes very difficult for him, because after the second visit to Narnia, he had grown too old to ever return.

                        Anna Popplewell as Susan Pevensie

Susan Pevensie is the second oldest of the children. She is the quiet, submissive one of the four. She assumes a very motherly stance at times, very hardworking, thinking about everything she says and does beforehand. This good habit sometimes drives the other children crazy. But as irritating as she gets, the younger two still look up to her for comfort and affection. When she returns to England, instead of becoming stuck up and proud, she tries to accept things as they really are and tries to live life as if Narnia never happened.

Just like her older brother Peter, after her second time in Narnia, she also had grown too old to go back.

                                                      Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie

Edmund Pevensie is the youngest boy of the four Pevensie children. Being the way that he is, he often becomes forgotten, and thus, does a load of evil and sinister acts to get negative attention. He laughs and mocks Lucy, his younger sister, and joins forces with the White Witch. But when he meets Aslan, everything changes, and he turns into a wonderful young man, helping everyone that comes his way. He, much like Susan, tried to accept the fact that England is where they live, and that he couldn't keep waiting for Aslan to call him back to Narnia.

                                                      Georgie Henley as Lucy Pevensie

Lucy Pevensie is the youngest of the four, and the first to venture in the land of Narnia through the back of wardrobe. When she told her older siblings about it, needless to say, they didn't believe her. But when the children are forced to hide in the wardrobe due the fact that they are hiding from Mrs. Macready, they all stumble upon the mysterious and snowy wood.

Perhaps since Lucy is the youngest, she believes in Narnia more than anyone else. She gives her entire life and love to this world, and treasures each moment in it. Everytime she leaves it, she misses it even more.
